Improving reading by strengthening the brain

Reading can be easier and more enjoyable

Learning to read can be hard. Think about it – first understand the sounds of letters. Next, learn what each letter is and what sound they make. That’s followed by linking letters and sounds together to make words, words to make sentences, and sentences to create meaning. Because reading is not an innate process, it’s no wonder many children struggle learning to read even with practice and frequent exposure to written text!

Our reading program utilizes neurofeedback while reading to strengthen the areas of the brain responsible for reading and reading comprehension. Put simply, neurofeedback allows the brain feedback to strengthen the pathways responsible for reading. It sounds odd at first, but decades of research shows the effectiveness of neurofeedback on improving brain functioning!
